Job Title: PPA Cover Teacher

We are currently seeking a dedicated PPA (Planning, Preparation, and Assessment) Cover Teacher to join our team at a reputable school in NG5. As a PPA Cover Teacher, you will play a vital role in providing continuity of education and support across various year groups.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and differentiated lessons across different year groups in the absence of the regular class teacher, ensuring continuity of learning.
  • Follow pre-established lesson plans and schemes of work, adapting activities as necessary to meet the needs of individual students.
  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment where all students feel supported and motivated to achieve their full potential.
  • Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to inform ongoing learning and development.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to maintain consistency in teaching practices and support the implementation of school policies.
  • Maintain effective communication with colleagues, students, and parents/guardians to provide updates on student progress and address any concerns.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
  • Experience teaching across different year groups and Key Stages.
  • Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum and effective teaching strategies.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to work across various subjects and year groups.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to establish positive relationships with students and colleagues.
