The school provides a highly personalised curriculum, helping students develop communication, sensory, physical and life skills within a nurturing and supportive environment.

As a PMLD Teacher, you'll play a vital role in helping pupils achieve goals that can be life-changing, celebrating every milestone and creating meaningful learning experiences tailored to individual needs.

The Role

• Plan and deliver engaging, multi-sensory lessons tailored to individual EHCP outcomes.
• Support pupils with complex learning difficulties, medical needs, and physical disabilities.
• Work collaboratively with therapists, support staff, families, and external professionals.
• Create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive learning environment.
• Promote communication, independence, wellbeing, and personal development.
• Monitor progress and contribute to reviews and pupil assessments.

The Ideal Candidate

• Holds QTS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
• Experience working with PMLD, SLD, Complex Needs, or SEND pupils.
• Understanding of sensory learning approaches and personalised learning.
• Patient, adaptable, and highly empathetic.
• Committed to delivering outstanding outcomes for learners with additional needs.
