PE Teacher – Newton Abbot
Full-Time | Immediate or September Start | Teaching Personnel

Teaching Personnel are working in partnership with a vibrant secondary school in the Newton Abbot area to recruit an enthusiastic and dedicated PE Teacher.

This is a fantastic opportunity for both experienced teachers and Early Career Teachers (ECTs) to join a supportive department and inspire students to develop a passion for physical education, sport, and healthy lifestyles.

The role:

• Deliver engaging PE lessons across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 desirable but not essential)
• Plan and deliver a broad and balanced PE curriculum
• Encourage participation, teamwork, and positive attitudes towards physical activity
• Support extracurricular activities, including school teams and clubs
• Monitor, assess, and track student progress

The ideal candidate will:

• Hold QTS (or equivalent recognised teaching qualification)
• Have experience teaching PE at secondary level
• Be confident delivering a range of sports and activities
• Demonstrate strong classroom and behaviour management
• Be energetic, proactive, and passionate about PE

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
