Working Hours: 830am- 330pm

Start Date: 3rd June.

Pay Rate: Starting from £157.66 (paid to scale)

Teaching Personnel are working with a secondary school in Caldicot to recruit a PE Teacher. As a Pe Teacher you will be part of an enthusiastic department who are responsible for making a positive impact on pupils lives and their feeling towards exercise and a healthy wellbeing. You will be working with pupils between the ages of 11-18.

This role is due to run in line until the end of the academic year. Moving forward there is potential for this to continue into September for the right Teacher. You would not be expected to take part in any extra curricular activities such as sports fixtures or after school clubs, however if you did wish to do this the school happily welcomes you!

Roles

  • Take PE lessons with both girls and boys.
  • Take a lead on lunch time and after school activities including sport fixtures.

  • Bring a positive attitude towards fitness and show how having a healthy lifestyle can be enjoyable.
  • Find ways to keep pupils engaged and keep lessons fun.

Requirements

  • Previous experience working in sports department.
  • Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Check (DBS)
  • Qualified teacher status
  • 2 most recent references
  • Proof of right to work in the UK.
  • Educational workforce council.
