We are currently working with a number of welcoming and inclusive secondary schools across Oldham that are looking to appoint enthusiastic PE Teachers on both full-time and part-time contracts. These opportunities offer the chance to join schools that value high-quality physical education and recognise the important role sport plays in students' physical health, wellbeing and personal development.
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging and motivating PE lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, with potential opportunities to teach Key Stage 5 depending on experience. You will encourage participation, promote healthy lifestyles and help students develop confidence, resilience and teamwork skills both inside and outside the classroom.
Schools are seeking individuals who can build positive relationships with students, maintain high expectations and create an environment where every learner feels supported to achieve their best. You should have strong subject knowledge, excellent classroom management skills and a genuine passion for inspiring young people through sport and physical activity.
Applications are welcomed from qualified teachers holding QTS, as well as Early Career Teachers looking to gain valuable experience in a supportive setting. Previous experience teaching PE within a UK secondary school environment is desirable, although strong candidates from alternative educational backgrounds will also be considered.
