Part-Time SEND Teaching Assistant – Primary School (Morning Role)

A primary school we work closely with is looking to appoint a dedicated SEND Teaching Assistant to join their team on a part-time basis, working Monday to Friday from 8:30am to 1:00pm.

This role will involve supporting pupils with additional needs, helping them to access learning in a supportive and structured environment.

The role will include:

  • Providing 1:1 and small group support for pupils with SEND (Including Autism, ADHD and providing personal care)
  • Assisting with tailored learning activities
  • Supporting emotional regulation and behaviour where required
  • Working collaboratively with the class teacher and SENCo

We are looking for someone who:

  • Has experience working with children with SEND (school or care background)
  • Is patient, resilient and adaptable
  • Can build strong, positive relationships with pupils
  • Is committed to making a difference in a child’s school experience
