Primary Teacher - Part-Time Opportunities

Teaching Personnel are working in partnership with a number of welcoming and supportive primary schools in Central Cambridge to recruit a part-time, fully qualified primary teacher for a range of opportunities.
We are offering a mix of ad hoc supply and longer-term placements across EYFS, KS1 and KS2. This role is ideal for a teacher seeking flexible part-time work, with the option to take on more consistent, long-term placements within local schools.
The Role
As a Primary Teacher working through Teaching Personnel, you will:
- Deliver engaging and inclusive lessons in line with the National Curriculum
- Adapt teaching to meet the needs of all learners
- Maintain strong classroom and behaviour management
- Monitor pupil progress and provide feedback where required
- Work collaboratively with teaching assistants and school staff
- Create a safe, positive, and stimulating learning environment
A Typical Day May Include
- Delivering pre-planned lessons or adapting plans where needed
- Managing classroom behaviour effectively
- Supporting pupils' engagement and progress
- Differentiating tasks to meet individual needs
- Marking work and providing feedback where appropriate
- Leaving clear handover notes for the class teacher
- Working closely with support staff to ensure all pupils are supported
Who We're Looking For
- Essential: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK
- Essential: recent and relevant experience teaching in UK primary schools
- Strong classroom management skills
- A flexible, reliable, and professional approach
- A positive and adaptable attitude
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
