PPA Cover Teacher

A small school in the Bacup area are seeking to appoint a suitable long term PPA cover Teacher. The post is part time and will be working within both key stages. Within this role you will be required to work to release colleagues and perform all the duties and tasks expected of a class teacher during PPA time. You will be expected to deliver and assess children appropriately to their needs and maintain the positive ethos of the school both inside and outside of the classroom. Within this role there could be an element of planning.

Pay rate: £ 120- £ 150 per day.

To release colleagues and perform all the duties and tasks expected of a class teacher during PPA time.

Plan, prepare and assess and teach children appropriately to their needs.

Maintain the positive ethos of the school both inside and outside of the classroom.

Contribute effectively to the team.

Observe school policy and ethos during your bookings.

Contribute to the provision of a safe, secure learning environment.

Support the use of support staff relevant to the class.

It is essential that you have QTS and experience working in a UK primary school. You will need to have taught in KS1 and/or KS2 and have knowledge of statutory assessments.
