Nurseries and early years settings across Southampton are looking for enthusiastic, caring, and dedicated Level 3 EYFS Practitioners to join their teams from October 2026.

The Role

As a Level 3 EYFS Practitioner, you will:

• Support children’s learning and development in line with the EYFS framework.
• Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate activities.
• Build strong, positive relationships with children and families.
• Support children’s communication, language, physical, social, and emotional development.
• Observe, assess, and record children’s progress.
• Create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive learning environment.
• Work closely with colleagues to provide high-quality early years care and education.
• Encourage children’s independence, confidence, and curiosity through play-based learning.

What We're Looking For

We're looking for someone who is:

• Level 3 qualified in Early Years / Childcare
• Passionate about working with young children.
• Caring, patient, and enthusiastic.
• Confident supporting children’s learning and development.
• A strong communicator and team player.
• Reliable, adaptable, and proactive.
• Knowledgeable about the EYFS framework and safeguarding.
• Available to work part-time during nursery/school hours.
