Are you passionate about helping children learn, grow, and thrive? We're looking for a caring and enthusiastic Nursery Practitioner to join a welcoming nursery team in Birkenhead.

As a Nursery Practitioner, you'll play an important role in supporting children's learning and development while ensuring they feel happy, secure, and valued each day. Working alongside a friendly and experienced team, you'll help create engaging experiences that encourage children to reach their full potential.

  • Planning and delivering fun, age-appropriate activities in line with the EYFS framework.

  • Observing and recording children's development, achievements, and next steps.

  • Building positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.

  • Supporting children's personal care, mealtimes, and daily routines.

  • Creating a safe, clean, and stimulating environment for learning and play.

  • Promoting children's emotional wellbeing and providing encouragement and reassurance when needed.

  • Working as part of a team to provide outstanding care and education.

 

  • A minimum Level 2 qualification in Childcare/Early Years (or equivalent).

  • Previous nursery or childcare experience is desirable.

  • Good knowledge of the EYFS framework.

  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.

  • A genuine passion for working with young children and supporting their development.

This is a full-time position, Monday to Friday, working 8:00am to 4:00pm. We believe in creating a supportive workplace where staff feel valued and can maintain a healthy work-life balance.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
