EYFS Practitioner – Nursery Setting (Atherton)

A well-established nursery in Atherton is looking to recruit a nurturing and enthusiastic EYFS Practitioner to join their team on a full-time basis from September 2026.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a vibrant early years setting that places a strong emphasis on play-based learning, child development, and creating a safe, stimulating environment for all children.

The nursery has a strong reputation within the local community and offers a supportive working environment where staff are valued and encouraged to develop professionally.

Key duties:

  • Support the learning and development of children aged 0–5
  • Plan and deliver engaging EYFS activities in line with the framework
  • Monitor and record children’s progress
  • Maintain a safe, caring, and inclusive environment
  • Work effectively as part of a team and communicate with parents

The successful candidate will:

  • Hold a Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Early Years (or equivalent)
  • Have experience working within a nursery or EYFS setting
  • Demonstrate a sound understanding of the EYFS framework
  • Be passionate about supporting early childhood development

This role would suit someone who is committed to providing high-quality early years education and enjoys working in a child-centred environment.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
