Salary: £22,000–£29,000 per annum (dependent on experience)

Supply Desk are looking for a passionate, caring, and qualified Level 3 Nursery Practitioner to join a welcoming and supportive nursery team in the Watford area.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced early years professional who is committed to creating a positive learning environment where children feel safe, supported, and encouraged to reach their full potential.

As a Nursery Practitioner, you will play a key role in providing high-quality care and education while supporting children’s learning, development, and wellbeing in accordance with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).

• Create and maintain a safe, welcoming, stimulating, and inclusive environment for children aged 0–5.
• Plan and deliver engaging, developmentally appropriate activities in line with the EYFS framework.
• Encourage and support children’s individual learning, development, and wellbeing.
• Develop positive and professional relationships with parents, carers, and colleagues.
• Monitor, observe, assess, and accurately record children’s progress and development.
• Follow all safeguarding, health, and safety procedures and ensure children’s welfare remains a priority.
• Support the smooth running of daily nursery routines, including mealtimes and personal care.
• Full and relevant Level 3 Childcare qualification (Or equivalent)
• Previous experience working within a nursery or early years setting (Desirable)
• Strong knowledge of the EYFS framework and safeguarding practices
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• A positive, caring, and proactive attitude
• Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)
