Salary: £22,000–£29,000 per annum (dependent on experience)

About the Role

Supply Desk are looking for a passionate, caring, and qualified Level 3 Nursery Practitioner to join a welcoming and supportive nursery team in the Watford area.

This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic early years professional who is committed to creating a positive environment where children feel safe, supported, and encouraged to learn and develop.

As a Nursery Practitioner, you will play a key role in providing high-quality care and education while supporting children’s learning and development in accordance with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).

Key Responsibilities

• Create a safe, engaging, inclusive, and stimulating environment for children aged 0–5
• Plan and deliver fun, age-appropriate activities that support the EYFS framework
• Encourage and support children’s learning, development, and overall wellbeing
• Develop positive and professional relationships with parents, carers, and colleagues
• Observe, assess, and accurately record children’s progress and development
• Follow safeguarding, health & safety, and nursery policies and procedures at all times
• Support the smooth running of daily nursery routines, including mealtimes and personal care

Requirements

• Full and relevant Level 3 Childcare qualification (or equivalent)
• Previous experience working in a nursery or early years setting (desirable)
• Good understanding of the EYFS framework and safeguarding procedures
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• A caring, positive, and proactive approach to your work
• Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)
