Are you an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant, teacher, tutor or education professional who is passionate about supporting neurodivergent children to thrive?

We're looking for a warm, enthusiastic and experienced Neurodiversity Tutor to join our team in Ashford from 2 November 2026.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who understands that every child learns differently and enjoys creating engaging, personalised learning experiences that build not only academic skills, but also confidence, independence and self-esteem.

About the role

You'll provide tailored one-to-one or small-group educational support to children with SEND, adapting your approach to their individual strengths, needs and learning styles.

The role will involve:

  • Planning and delivering engaging, personalised learning sessions

  • Supporting children with a range of SEND and neurodiverse profiles

  • Building positive, trusting relationships with pupils

  • Adapting lessons and activities to meet individual learning needs

  • Encouraging confidence, independence and a love of learning

  • Working collaboratively with parents, carers and other professionals

  • Monitoring progress and adapting your approach where needed

What we're looking for

We'd love to hear from you if you have:

  • Experience working with children with SEND

  • Experience working in an educational setting

  • A genuine passion for helping children overcome barriers to learning

  • A patient, nurturing and encouraging approach

  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills

  • The ability to adapt your teaching style to suit individual learners

  • Experience planning lessons or personalised learning programmes (desirable)

You might currently be working as an SEN TA, Higher-Level Teaching Assistant, teacher, tutor, learning mentor or other education professional and be looking for a role where you can have a more individual impact.

What we offer

  • Competitive pay, depending on experience

  • 10 hours per week, with additional hours available for the right person

  • Some flexibility around working hours, where possible

  • School holidays off

  • A rewarding role where you can make a genuine difference

  • The opportunity to work closely with children and families and see their progress first-hand

We're looking for someone who is not only experienced, but who genuinely believes that with the right support, every child can succeed.

If you're passionate about SEND, enjoy creating positive learning experiences and would love the opportunity to make a meaningful difference, we'd love to hear from you.
