The Role - Music Technician

As a music technician, you'll be an integral part of the music department, ensuring everything runs smoothly behind the scenes while helping bring performances and events to life.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Maintaining, repairing, and managing a wide range of musical instruments and equipment
  • Setting up resources for lessons and rehearsals
  • Supporting student bands and helping facilitate live music opportunities
  • Organising and running regular showcase events and concerts
  • Managing and maintaining music spaces
  • Providing sound, lighting, and AV support for school events, performances, and assemblies
  • Assisting with recordings and general technical support for performances
  • Supporting the wider school with audio-visual needs
