Are you a passionate and skilled Music Teacher ready to bring energy, creativity, and inspiration to the classroom? A thriving secondary school in Aylesbury is seeking a dedicated Music Teacher to join their team and help students discover their musical voice.
Teach engaging, high-quality Music lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 (KS5 opportunities may be available)
Inspire students through performance, composition, listening, and appraisal activities
Create an inclusive and supportive environment that encourages creativity and self-expression
Contribute to the planning and delivery of a rich and varied Music curriculum
Support and lead extracurricular activities such as school productions, choirs, bands, and concerts
Foster a love for music across a range of genres and cultures
Collaborate with colleagues in the arts department to drive engagement and excellence
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK, or working towards it
A degree in Music or a closely related subject
Strong classroom presence and the ability to motivate and inspire students
Competence in at least one instrument and experience with music technology is desirable
A proactive, creative approach to teaching and learning
Excellent communication and organisational skills
Commitment to continuous professional development and collaborative working
