Teaching Personnel are supporting a welcoming specialist provision in Wiltshire with the recruitment of a caring and dependable Midday Supervisory Assistant for a permanent part-time opportunity.

This rewarding role involves supporting pupils aged 4-19 during lunchtime routines within a highly inclusive SEND environment. The provision supports learners with autism, communication needs, complex learning difficulties and social-emotional challenges.

Working closely with classroom teams and pastoral staff, you will help create a calm, safe and positive lunchtime experience where pupils feel supported, encouraged and included.

  • Supervising pupils within dining and outdoor areas
  • Encouraging positive interactions and healthy social development
  • Assisting children during mealtimes where appropriate
  • Promoting safe play and structured activities
  • Supporting emotional regulation and wellbeing
  • Reporting concerns or incidents to senior staff
  • Helping maintain routines and consistency across the day
  • Friendly, patient and approachable personality
  • Genuine interest in supporting children with additional needs
  • Reliable and punctual approach to work
  • Ability to remain calm within busy environments
  • Team player with good communication skills
  • Experience with children welcomed but not essential

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
