We are seeking an enthusiastic MFL Teacher to join a welcoming secondary school in the Southampton area. This is a fantastic opportunity to teach engaging lessons across KS3 and KS4 while encouraging students to develop a love for languages and different cultures.

You will help create a positive and stimulating classroom environment where all learners are supported to achieve their best.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Delivering engaging MFL lessons across KS3 and KS4
• Supporting students in developing speaking, listening, reading and writing skills
• Planning creative and differentiated lessons
• Monitoring progress and supporting student attainment
• Encouraging confidence and participation in language learning
• Creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment
• Supporting departmental initiatives and school activities

What We’re Looking For:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Strong subject knowledge in Modern Foreign Languages
• Experience teaching within a secondary school setting
• Ability to inspire and engage learners
• Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills
• Positive, adaptable and proactive approach
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
