A school based in Bridlington are currently looking for a Teaching Assistant to support children/young people with SEMH. The school supports up to 200 pupils, who have a range of needs, which includes; social, emotional and mental health needs (SEMH), complex needs such as attachment and anxiety, high functioning Autism (ASC) and pathological demand avoidance (PDA). The aim of the school is to re-engage pupils with learning and opportunities. 

We are looking for someone who is calm and patient, able to understand potential barriers children face. You do not need prior experience, but we would especially like to hear from people who have experience working in care/youth work/coaching/police/mental health services.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
