Maths Teacher – Dorchester

Teaching Personnel is currently recruiting for an enthusiastic and dedicated Maths Teacher to join a secondary school in Dorchester. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate educator to join a supportive school environment and make a positive impact on students’ mathematical development.

The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging Maths lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, helping students develop confidence, problem-solving skills and a strong understanding of mathematical concepts.

The Role:

• Teach Maths across KS3 and KS4.
• Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons.
• Support students of varying abilities, including those with additional needs.
• Prepare students effectively for GCSE examinations.
• Assess and monitor student progress.
• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues within the Maths department.
• Contribute to the wider life of the school.

The Ideal Candidate:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualification.
• Experience teaching Maths within a secondary setting.
• Strong subject knowledge.
• Excellent classroom management skills.
• A commitment to supporting student progress and achievement.
• Able to build positive relationships with students and colleagues.
• Early Career Teachers and experienced teachers are welcome to apply.
