Teaching Personnel is seeking an exceptional Maths Teacher to join a thriving secondary school on a full-time basis. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and knowledgeable educator who is passionate about Mathematics and committed to delivering outstanding outcomes for students across Key Stages 3, 4 and 5.
We are looking for a teacher who can inspire a love of Mathematics, challenge students of all abilities, and maintain the highest standards of teaching, learning and behaviour. The successful candidate will join a supportive and ambitious department with a strong focus on academic achievement, student progress and professional development.
As a full-time Maths Teacher, you will be responsible for:
- Teaching Mathematics across KS3, KS4 and KS5, including GCSE and A-Level
- Delivering engaging, well-structured lessons that inspire and challenge students
- Planning, preparing and assessing work in line with curriculum requirements
- Supporting students of varying abilities to achieve their full potential
- Using data effectively to monitor progress and raise attainment
- Maintaining high expectations for behaviour, effort and achievement
- Contributing to departmental development and whole-school initiatives
- Building positive relationships with students, parents and colleagues
To be considered for this role, applicants must:
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK
- Have proven experience teaching within a secondary school environment
- Be confident delivering both GCSE and A-Level Mathematics
- Demonstrate excellent classroom management and behaviour management skills
- Have a strong understanding of the current secondary Maths curriculum
- Be committed to achieving outstanding student outcomes
- Hold a valid Enhanced DBS Certificate registered on the Update Service, or be willing to obtain one through Teaching Personnel
- Have the right to work in the UK
- Experience teaching high-attaining and intervention groups
- A proven track record of improving student progress and attainment
- The ability to contribute to extracurricular Maths activities and revision programmes
- Strong communication and organisational skills
