Smile Education are currently recruiting for a Maths Teacher to join a supportive secondary school in the Telford area.

Duties and Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging, well-structured Maths lessons across the secondary age range.
- Teach Maths up to GCSE level, with the potential to teach A Level where required.
- Create a positive classroom environment where students feel confident to ask questions and develop their understanding.
- Adapt lessons and resources to support students with SEND and other additional needs.
- Assess student progress and provide clear, constructive feedback.
- Work closely with colleagues within the Maths department to share ideas and best practice.
- Maintain high expectations of behaviour, learning and achievement.
- Encourage students to develop their confidence, problem-solving skills and enthusiasm for Mathematics.
The School Are Looking For
- A qualified Maths Teacher or Maths ECT.
- Previous experience teaching Maths within a UK secondary school.
- Strong subject knowledge and a good understanding of the secondary Maths curriculum.
- Experience teaching GCSE Maths; familiarity with relevant examination boards is desirable.
- A confident, enthusiastic and engaging teaching style.
- Strong classroom management and communication skills.
- The ability to adapt teaching to meet the needs of different learners.
- Someone who is reliable, flexible and committed to supporting student progress.
- A genuine passion for helping young people develop their confidence and mathematical ability.
