Smile Education are currently working with a welcoming secondary school in the Cannock area who are looking to appoint a dedicated Maths Teacher.

Duties and Responsibilities
- Plan, prepare and mark engaging Maths lessons in line with school expectations.
- Deliver high-quality Maths teaching across the secondary age range.
- Create a positive, inclusive and well-managed classroom environment.
- Adapt teaching to meet the needs of SEND pupils and those requiring additional support.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues within the Maths department.
- Teach Maths up to GCSE level, with A Level teaching available where required.
The School Are Looking For
- An ECT or fully qualified Maths Teacher.
- Previous experience teaching Maths within a UK secondary school.
- Strong subject knowledge and a secure understanding of the Maths curriculum.
- Experience teaching Maths at GCSE level and familiarity with examination requirements.
- A confident, professional and engaging approach to teaching.
- Strong classroom management and communication skills.
- A reliable, adaptable and enthusiastic approach to supporting student progress.
- The ability to motivate students and develop their confidence and understanding of Mathematics.
