Salary: £31,650 – £49,084 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications

Teaching Personnel are currently recruiting for enthusiastic and committed Maths Teachers to work within a range of secondary schools across Bournemouth and the surrounding areas.

We are looking for passionate educators who can inspire students to develop their confidence and understanding of Mathematics and help them achieve their full academic potential.

These opportunities are suitable for experienced Maths Teachers, as well as ECTs looking to begin their teaching career within a supportive and well-established school.

The Role

As a Maths Teacher, you will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging and challenging lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.

You will support students in developing their mathematical understanding, problem-solving skills and confidence, whilst preparing them for GCSE examinations and further study.

The successful candidate will:

• Hold Qualified Teacher Status or be working towards QTS as an ECT
• Have strong subject knowledge in Mathematics
• Have experience teaching, or be confident teaching, KS3 and KS4
• Be able to deliver engaging and differentiated lessons
• Have strong classroom management and behaviour management skills
• Set high expectations for student achievement and conduct
• Be committed to supporting students of different abilities and backgrounds
• Have excellent communication and organisational skills
• Be enthusiastic, reliable and committed to education
• Work effectively as part of a wider Maths department and school community
