We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Teacher of Mathematics to join our successful secondary school in Weymouth from September 2026.

The successful candidate will be passionate about Mathematics and committed to delivering engaging, challenging and accessible lessons that help students build confidence, develop problem-solving skills and achieve their full potential.

As a Teacher of Mathematics, you will:

  • Teach Mathematics across KS3 and KS4, with potential for KS5.
  • Plan and deliver engaging, well-structured lessons.
  • Prepare and support students for GCSE examinations.
  • Develop students' mathematical reasoning and problem-solving skills.
  • Adapt teaching to meet a range of abilities and learning needs.
  • Monitor progress and provide effective feedback.
  • Maintain high standards of behaviour and achievement.
  • Contribute positively to the wider life of the school.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues within the Mathematics department.

We are looking for someone who:

  • Holds QTS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
  • Has experience teaching Mathematics in a secondary school setting.
  • Has strong subject knowledge and enthusiasm for Mathematics.
  • Can create a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
  • Has high expectations of all students.
  • Is committed to raising attainment and supporting student progress.
  • Works effectively as part of a supportive department.
