Maths Teacher - Cannock - September 2026 Start

Academics are a local teacher recruitment agency and we are working with a well-regarded secondary school in Cannock to recruit a Maths Teacher on a temporary basis.

Role Details:

• Start date: September 2026
• Duration: Until October 2026 (approx 7 weeks)
• Location: Cannock
• Key Stages: KS3 and small amount of KS4
• Daily rate: £160 - £230 (depending on experience)

The school is an 11-18 mixed comprehensive with a good reputation in the Cannock area. Applications are welcome from both Early Career Teachers (ECTs) and experienced teachers.

Person Specification:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
• Strong subject knowledge in Maths
• Experience as a Maths Teacher across KS3 and KS4 and a range of abilities
• Excellent classroom management and teaching practice
• Ability to engage and inspire students
• Professional, reliable, and committed to safeguarding
• Strong communication skills and a positive attitude
• Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
