About the Role:

Supply Desk are currently seeking a passionate and dedicated Maths Teacher to join a welcoming and supportive secondary school in the Kings Langley area. This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic educator to inspire students, deliver engaging mathematics lessons, and help pupils develop confidence and achieve their full academic potential.

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality Maths lessons across Key Stages, fostering a positive learning environment, and supporting students of all abilities to make excellent progress.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging and differentiated Maths lessons that meet the needs of all learners.
• Assess, monitor and track student progress, providing constructive feedback to support achievement.
• Create a positive, inclusive and well-managed classroom environment.
• Adapt teaching strategies to support students with varying abilities and learning needs.
• Prepare students for internal assessments and external examinations where appropriate.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents and school leaders to support student progress.
• Promote high standards of behaviour, attendance and academic achievement.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS or equivalent).
• Experience teaching Maths within a secondary school setting.
• Strong subject knowledge and a passion for Mathematics.
• Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
• The ability to motivate and inspire students of all abilities.
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
