Pay: £168 – £232 per day

We are looking for an inspiring Maths Teacher to join a secondary school in the Portsmouth area. This long-term opportunity offers the chance to teach across KS3 and KS4, delivering engaging lessons that support students of all abilities to succeed.

You will join a dedicated Maths department committed to raising attainment and creating a positive learning environment.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Delivering high-quality Maths lessons across KS3 and KS4
• Supporting students to develop confidence and analytical skills
• Planning and adapting lessons to meet different learning needs
• Monitoring progress and implementing strategies for improvement
• Creating a focused and engaging classroom environment
• Encouraging positive attitudes towards learning
• Contributing to departmental development and wider school life

What We’re Looking For:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Strong subject knowledge within Mathematics
• Experience teaching in a secondary school setting
• Ability to inspire and challenge students
• Excellent classroom management skills
• Organised, adaptable and enthusiastic approach
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
