We are recruiting on behalf of a secondary school seeking a passionate and skilled Maths Teacher to join their team from September 2026.

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated practitioner to deliver high‑quality Mathematics teaching across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5. The successful candidate will inspire students to achieve their full potential while contributing to a positive, inclusive, and high‑expectations learning environment.

As a Maths Teacher, you will plan and deliver engaging lessons, support pupil progress, and contribute to a strong Maths provision.

You will work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and the wider school community, helping to create an environment where all students are supported and challenged to succeed.


  • Deliver high‑quality Maths teaching across KS3, KS4, and KS5
  • Plan engaging and effective lessons for a range of abilities
  • Assess, monitor, and track pupil progress, adapting teaching accordingly
  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment
  • Use a variety of teaching strategies to support learning
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues and contribute to curriculum development
  • Promote high standards of behaviour, achievement, and engagement
  • Support safeguarding, attendance, and student wellbeing
  • Engage in CPD, appraisal, and wider school activities

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Early Career Teacher (ECT)
  • Degree in Mathematics or a related subject
  • Strong knowledge of the Maths curriculum (KS3–KS5)
  • Ability to deliver engaging and inclusive lessons
  • Good understanding of safeguarding requirements
  • Strong communication and relationship‑building skills
  • Commitment to continuous professional development
  • Awareness of current educational developments and best practice
