We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and dedicated Maths Teacher to join our successful and supportive secondary school in Bolton from September 2026.

This is an excellent opportunity for an inspirational classroom practitioner who is passionate about maths and committed to helping students achieve their full potential. Applications are welcome from ECTs and experienced teachers.

You will:

  • Teach Maths across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 opportunities may be available for the right candidate)
  • Plan and deliver engaging, high-quality lessons that inspire a love of maths
  • Use assessment effectively to support progress and raise attainment
  • Contribute positively to the Maths department and wider school life
  • Maintain high expectations for pupil behaviour, achievement and engagement

We are looking for someone who:

  • Holds QTS (or is on track to obtain it by September 2026)
  • Has strong subject knowledge and a passion for teaching Maths
  • Is reflective, organised and committed to professional development
  • Works well as part of a team and builds positive relationships with students
  • Shares our commitment to inclusion, safeguarding and high standards

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
