A supportive and well-established secondary school in Bath is seeking a dedicated and adaptable Maths Teacher to join their Mathematics department on a cover basis, starting as soon as possible.

This role is well suited to an ECT or experienced teacher who is available immediately and open to a position that may develop into a long-term placement for the right candidate.

  • Teaching Mathematics across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 may be available depending on experience)
  • Delivering engaging and structured lessons as part of an existing cover arrangement
  • Supporting pupils to achieve strong progress and confidence in Maths
  • Maintaining high expectations for behaviour and achievement
  • Working collaboratively with the wider Maths department
  • Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or is working towards it
  • Strong subject knowledge in Mathematics
  • Confident, flexible, and able to adapt quickly within a cover role
  • Effective classroom and behaviour management skills
  • Committed to raising attainment and supporting student success
  • A welcoming and experienced Maths department
