We are recruiting on behalf of a large and inclusive secondary academy seeking an outstanding Lead Practitioner in Maths to help strengthen teaching and learning and raise outcomes across the school.
Shaping great teaching through modelling, coaching, and evidence‑informed practice sits at the heart of this role. The successful candidate will combine deep subject expertise with a collaborative, supportive approach-using insight from data and research to drive meaningful improvement and ensure pupils' progress remains central to teaching practice.
Applications are welcomed from existing Lead Practitioners, as well as from experienced teachers ready to work towards Lead Practitioner accreditation, with appropriate support provided.
As Lead Practitioner in Maths, you will be a visible model of exceptional classroom practice and a key driver of professional development. Working closely with subject leaders and senior staff, you will help embed high expectations, refine pedagogy, and build a culture of continuous improvement across the academy.
