Maths Teacher – Tameside

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Maths Teacher to join a secondary school in Tameside on a full-time basis, beginning in January 2025. This is a fantastic opportunity to inspire students and make a difference in their academic journey. As a Maths Teacher, you’ll be responsible for planning and delivering curriculum-aligned lessons to Key Stages 3 and 4, developing students’ understanding of essential mathematical concepts and fostering problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Design engaging Maths lessons that encourage analytical and critical thinking
  • Track student progress, providing tailored feedback to support academic growth
  • Create a positive and structured learning environment that motivates students
  • Collaborate with other staff members to contribute to department objectives

Ideal Candidate:
Candidates should hold QTS with a specialisation in Maths and a strong foundation in GCSE and/or A-Level Maths. We welcome both experienced teachers and ECTs who demonstrate a commitment to continuous professional development. Strong classroom management and communication skills are essential, along with a genuine enthusiasm for Mathematics.
