The Role:

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Maths Teacher to join our team on a permanent basis starting in September 2024. The ideal candidate will be passionate about mathematics and have a proven track record of inspiring students to achieve their best. You will be responsible for teaching Key Stages 3 and 4, with the potential to teach A-level Mathematics for the right candidate.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality mathematics lessons that engage and motivate students.
  • Plan and implement effective teaching strategies in line with the national curriculum.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback to support their development.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and share best practices.
  • Participate in departmental and whole-school activities.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Degree in Mathematics or a related field.
  • Experience teaching Mathematics at Key Stages 3 and 4; experience with A-levels is desirable.
  • Strong classroom management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to continuous professional development.
