Salary:

£120 - £200 per day

  • QTS or equivalent teaching qualification
  • BA (Hons) Mathematics
  • Strong subject and curriculum knowledge and awareness
  • Exceptional organisational skills and the ability to plan engaging lessons
  • Accurately assess pupils' learning and development and plan lessons accordingly
  • Strong behaviour management techniques
  • Excellent communication skills
  • A genuine passion for mathematics and inspiring the next generation through maths

The Maths Teacher will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging maths lessons to students, assessing their progress, and adapting teaching methods to meet individual needs. They will also be required to maintain a positive learning environment, manage student behaviour effectively, and communicate with parents and staff regarding student progress.

The ideal candidate must possess a QTS or equivalent teaching qualification, a BA (Hons) in Mathematics, and demonstrate strong subject and curriculum knowledge and awareness.

Prior experience teaching mathematics at the secondary level is preferred.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
