Teaching Personnel are the largest educational recruitment agency in the UK. We are currently looking for Maths teachers for one of our mainstream secondary schools in Bourne End.

You will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging Maths lessons to secondary school students, following the national curriculum guidelines. They will assess and monitor student progress, provide feedback, and support students in their learning. The teacher will also be expected to participate in departmental meetings and contribute to the overall school community.

The ideal candidate must have a PGCE, QTS, and a minimum of a Master's degree in Maths or a related field. A PhD in Maths is highly desirable.

Prior experience teaching Maths at the secondary school level is essential. Experience in behaviour management and working with diverse student populations is preferred.

The Maths Teacher should have a strong understanding of the national curriculum for Maths and be able to adapt teaching methods to meet the needs of individual students. Excellent communication skills, resilience, and the ability to think quickly on their feet are crucial for success in this role.

A PhD in Maths or a related field is preferred for this position.
