Role Overview:
As a Maths Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the teaching and learning of mathematics across the school. Your responsibilities will include:
Classroom Support: Assisting mathematics teachers in delivering engaging and interactive lessons, providing one-to-one support to students who may require additional help, and ensuring that all pupils are able to access the curriculum effectively.
Small Group Intervention: Leading small group intervention sessions to support students who are struggling with specific mathematical concepts or topics, providing targeted assistance and reinforcement of key skills.
Resource Creation: Collaborating with teachers to create and prepare teaching resources, including worksheets, activities, and visual aids, to enhance the learning experience and cater to the diverse needs of students.
Assessment and Feedback: Supporting teachers in assessing student progress and achievement, marking and providing feedback on classwork and homework assignments, and tracking student performance over time.
Extra-Curricular Activities: Getting involved in extracurricular mathematics activities and initiatives, such as maths clubs, competitions, and enrichment programs, to promote a love for the subject and encourage students to explore mathematical concepts beyond the classroom.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
