A Cardiff Secondary School is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Maths Teacher to join our successful Mathematics department on a maternity cover contract for the full academic year, beginning on 7th September 2026.

We are looking for an inspiring teacher who can deliver engaging and high-quality lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the ability to motivate students of all abilities and help them achieve excellent outcomes.

  • Deliver engaging and effective Maths lessons across KS3 and KS4

  • Plan, prepare, and assess student work in line with curriculum requirements

  • Monitor and support student progress and attainment

  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment

  • Maintain strong classroom management and behaviour standards

  • Contribute to departmental meetings and wider school activities

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

  • Experience teaching Mathematics within a secondary school setting

  • Strong subject knowledge and passion for Maths education
