We are looking for a Midday Supervisory Assistant to work in a primary school in Hastings.

This is a part-time role supporting pupils during lunchtime. You'll be helping to supervise children in the dining hall and playground, making sure they are safe, happy and well-behaved throughout the lunch break.

This role would suit someone who enjoys working with children and can build positive relationships with pupils and staff.

The role includes:

  • Supervising children during lunch and break times
  • Supporting pupils in the dining hall and playground
  • Encouraging positive behaviour
  • Helping children resolve minor issues and play safely
  • Reporting any concerns to school staff

We're looking for someone who:

  • Is reliable and punctual
  • Has a calm and friendly approach
  • Enjoys working with primary-aged children
  • Can work well as part of a team
  • Has an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or is willing to obtain one
