Position: Long-Term Cover Supervisor

Location: Tameside Area

School: Reputable school in the Tameside area is seeking a dedicated and reliable individual to join their team as a long-term cover supervisor.

Duration: Long-term position with the possibility of extension

Start Date: Immediate start

Salary: Competitive, based on experience and qualifications

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise students in the absence of the regular teacher
  • Manage classroom behavior and ensure a positive learning environment
  • Deliver pre-prepared lessons across various subjects
  • Support students with their learning and provide assistance when needed

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working with children or young adults is preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage a classroom effectively
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of a high school diploma; higher education qualifications are advantageous
  • Teaching assistant or cover supervisor experience is desirable but not essential
