LKS2 Teaching Assistant

Location: Yorkshire and the Humber, West Yorkshire, Leeds

Job Type: Temporary, Full-Time

Salary: £85 - £95 Per day

• Assist the Lower Key Stage 2 (LKS2) teachers in delivering engaging lessons
• Support individual and small groups of pupils with their learning activities
• Help create a positive and inclusive learning environment
• Assist in the preparation of classroom materials and resources
• Supervise pupils during class and break times
• Provide feedback to teachers on pupil progress and behaviour

• GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths
• Relevant Teaching Assistant qualification

Minimum of GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths

Prior experience working as a Teaching Assistant in a primary school setting

• Understanding of the UK primary school curriculum
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Patience and empathy when working with children

• Higher level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) qualification
• First Aid certification

• Full-Time role, working hours may vary
• Temporary position with the possibility of extension
• Work within a primary school environment

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
