We are currently recruiting for a dedicated and enthusiastic Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and supportive mainstream primary school in Blackburn for the full academic year.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Teaching Assistant who is passionate about supporting pupils' learning, development, and wellbeing within a primary education setting. The successful candidate will work closely with teachers and support staff to deliver high-quality learning experiences and help pupils reach their full potential.

  • Support teaching and learning across the primary age range.
  • Deliver targeted interventions and small group activities.
  • Assist in the planning and preparation of classroom resources.
  • Support pupils with varying learning needs and abilities.
  • Promote positive behaviour and engagement within the classroom.
  • Help create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment.
  • Monitor pupil progress and provide feedback to teaching staff.
  • Support children's social, emotional, and academic development.
  • Follow safeguarding and school policies at all times.
  • Level 3 qualification in Early Years or Supporting Teaching and Learning (essential).
  • Previous experience working within a primary school environment.
  • Strong understanding of safeguarding and child protection.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to build positive relationships with children, staff, and parents.
  • Reliable, flexible, and committed to supporting pupil achievement.
  • Competitive hourly pay of £16.00 - £17.00 per hour.
