About the Role
Are you a Level 3 Teaching Assistant looking for your next opportunity? We are seeking a caring, enthusiastic and dedicated Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and supportive school, where you will play an important role in supporting pupils with their learning, development and wellbeing.
Key Responsibilities
- Support teachers with the planning and delivery of engaging and inclusive lessons.
- Provide targeted one-to-one and small-group support to pupils to help them achieve their learning goals.
- Support pupils across a range of subjects and learning activities.
- Adapt activities and resources to meet individual learning needs and abilities.
- Support pupils with additional learning needs, including SEN, where required.
- Promote positive behaviour and encourage pupils to develop confidence, independence and a positive attitude towards learning.
- Assist with classroom organisation, preparation of resources and general teaching activities.
- Monitor pupil progress and provide feedback to teachers regarding development and learning.
- Build positive and supportive relationships with pupils, staff and parents/carers.
- Work as part of a team to create a safe, inclusive and engaging learning environment.
- Follow school policies and procedures, including safeguarding and child protection requirements.
Requirements
- Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification/certificate – essential.
- Previous experience working within a school or educational setting is desirable.
- A caring, patient and supportive approach to working with pupils.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a wider school team.
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
- Enhanced DBS clearance or willingness to obtain one.
