Academics, an established Education Agency, are acting as an agency and are recruiting a Level 3 Teaching Assistant to work on a temporary, ongoing supply basis across a variety of welcoming primary schools throughout Worksop.

This Level 3 Teaching Assistant opportunity offers flexibility whilst allowing you to support pupils throughout EYFS, KS1 and KS2. Working as a Level 3 Teaching Assistant in Worksop provides the opportunity to work within a range of supportive school environments, with some roles including small group interventions and supporting pupils with additional needs within mainstream classrooms.

Position: Level 3 Teaching Assistant

Location: Worksop, Nottinghamshire

Contract: Temporary, flexible ongoing supply

Pay: £92.56 - £95 per day (paid via PAYE, no umbrella company fees, inclusive of holiday pay, dependent on experience, training, qualifications and client rate available)

Start Date: ASAP or a start date that works for you

About the Role

Working as a Level 3 Teaching Assistant in Worksop, you will support teachers in delivering engaging lessons whilst helping pupils develop confidence and achieve their full potential.

The Level 3 Teaching Assistant role in Worksop includes classroom support, intervention work and occasional 1:1 support where required, making every day varied and rewarding.

Key Responsibilities

• Support pupils across EYFS, KS1 and KS2
• Deliver intervention sessions and targeted support
• Assist with lesson preparation and classroom organisation
• Encourage positive behaviour and engagement
• Support pupils' academic, social and emotional development
• Follow safeguarding procedures at all times

Candidate Requirements

• Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (CACHE, NVQ or equivalent) essential
• Previous experience working within a primary school
• Positive and proactive approach
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Enhanced DBS Certificate (or willingness to obtain one)
