The Role

As a Level 3 Teaching Assistant, you will:

  • Support pupils on a one-to-one basis and in small group interventions.
  • Work closely with class teachers to deliver engaging and effective learning activities.
  • Provide support for pupils with a range of additional needs, including SEND and EAL.
  • Encourage positive behaviour and help maintain a productive learning environment.
  • Assist with the preparation of classroom resources and learning materials.
  • Promote pupil confidence, independence, and engagement in learning.
  • Contribute to creating a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment.

The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for someone who:

  • Holds a Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent.
  • Has previous experience working with children, ideally within a primary school setting.
  • Is passionate about supporting children's learning and development.
  • Demonstrates patience, adaptability, and a proactive approach.
  • Has excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Understands the importance of safeguarding and promoting pupil welfare.
  • Can build positive relationships with pupils, staff, and families.
