Are you a passionate and qualified Level 3 Childcare Practitioner looking to expand your experience within a school setting? We are currently seeking enthusiastic individuals to support primary-aged children (4–11 years) across schools in the Fordingbridge and Salisbury areas.

This opportunity is ideal for those looking to broaden their experience across the education sector, gain a deeper understanding of the needs of school-aged children, and increase their working hours with consistent Monday to Friday work.

The Role

As a school-based Childcare Practitioner, your responsibilities may include:

  • Supporting children within the classroom environment.
  • Working with small groups to encourage learning and development.
  • Providing 1:1 support for pupils who require additional assistance.
  • Supporting pupils within a resource base – a specialist provision within a mainstream school that provides tailored support for children with additional needs while enabling them to access mainstream education where appropriate.
  • Helping to create a positive, engaging and inclusive learning environment.

What We Offer

  • £90–£95 per day, depending on experience.
  • Average working day of 6.5 hours.
  • Consistent Monday to Friday work.
  • Opportunities across a variety of welcoming primary schools in the Fordingbridge and Salisbury areas.

Who We're Looking For

  • A Level 3 Childcare qualification (or equivalent).
  • A genuine passion for supporting children's learning and development.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • A proactive, patient and adaptable approach.
  • Previous experience working with children is essential.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
