Academics, an established Education Agency, are acting as an agency and are recruiting a Level 3 CACHE EYFS Teaching Assistant to work on a temporary, ongoing supply basis across welcoming primary schools throughout Sheffield.

This Level 3 CACHE EYFS Teaching Assistant opportunity is ideal for candidates holding a Level 3 CACHE or NVQ qualification, who are passionate about supporting children throughout Nursery and Reception during the earliest stages of their education.

Position: Level 3 CACHE EYFS Teaching Assistant

Location: Sheffield, South Yorkshire

Contract: Temporary, flexible ongoing supply

Pay: £92.56 - £95 per day (paid via PAYE, no umbrella company fees, inclusive of holiday pay, dependent on experience, training, qualifications and client rate available)

About the Role

Working as a Level 3 CACHE EYFS Teaching Assistant in Sheffield, you will support children within Nursery and Reception, encouraging their communication, confidence and independence through engaging learning experiences.

The Level 3 CACHE EYFS Teaching Assistant role in Sheffield includes classroom support, small group activities and helping to create stimulating learning environments in line with the EYFS Framework.

Key Responsibilities

• Support teaching and learning within Nursery and Reception
• Deliver small group interventions
• Encourage communication and social development
• Prepare engaging classroom resources
• Promote a safe and nurturing learning environment
• Follow safeguarding procedures

Candidate Requirements

• Level 3 CACHE or Level 3 NVQ qualification (essential)
• Experience supporting children within EYFS
• Good understanding of the EYFS Framework
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Enhanced DBS Certificate (or willingness to obtain one)
