Level 2 Teaching Assistant Secondary

£85 - £110 Per day

• Supporting the classroom teacher in delivering lessons
• Assisting with the preparation of learning materials
• Providing one-to-one support for students with additional learning needs
• Supervising students during class and break times
• Assisting with classroom management and behaviour support

• Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification
• GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths

Minimum of Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification

Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant in a secondary school setting

• Understanding of the National Curriculum
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Patience and empathy when working with students

• First Aid certification
• Additional training in Special Educational Needs (SEN)

• Full-Time position working during school hours
• Term-time only with school holidays off
• Working closely with students and teachers in a classroom environment
