Academics are recruiting for a community-focused primary school in Warrington that is looking for a caring and proactive Teaching Assistant to join their KS1 team.

The school is passionate about inclusion, teamwork and helping every child recognise their own potential. You'll work alongside an experienced class teacher, supporting pupils both academically and pastorally.

You'll be involved in:

• Supporting learning across the KS1 curriculum.
• Working with individuals and small groups.
• Reinforcing phonics, reading, writing and maths.
• Helping pupils stay focused and engaged.
• Preparing classroom resources.
• Supporting children who require additional encouragement.
• Creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment.

About you:

• Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent - desirable/required depending on experience.
• Previous experience working with primary-aged children.
• Good literacy and numeracy skills.
• Patient and approachable.
• Confident working as part of a team.
• Understanding of safeguarding and inclusion.
• Reliable and enthusiastic.

This would suit an experienced TA, an education graduate or someone with strong transferable experience who is looking to establish themselves within a primary school environment.
