Level 2 SEND Teaching Assistant – Maternity Cover

Location: Stockton-on-Tees
Start Date: After October Half Term
Contract: Maternity Cover
Pay: £95–£100 per day

We are seeking a caring, enthusiastic, and dedicated Level 2 SEND Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in Stockton-on-Tees from after the October half-term break. This is a maternity cover position offering the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of children with additional needs.

The successful candidate will:

  • Hold a Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent).
  • Have experience supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), preferably within a primary school setting.
  • Be patient, nurturing, and committed to helping every child achieve their full potential.
  • Work effectively as part of a supportive staff team.
  • Build positive relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues.
